Terms
The rules for using Rollcall and Rollcall Fan Passes, in plain English.
Who we are
Rollcall is run by Backline Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17524841, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. These terms cover organisations that use Rollcall (artists, managers, labels, promoters and merch companies), fans who hold a Rollcall Fan Pass, and anyone using this website. Questions: hello@rollcall.fan.
Your account
- You must be 18 or over and allowed to act for the organisation you sign up for.
- Owners and managers are responsible for who they invite and what their team does in Rollcall.
- Keep your sign in details private, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used them.
Plans and billing
- The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, at the price shown on our website when you subscribe.
- Your plan renews each month until you cancel.
- We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change, and you can cancel before it applies.
Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Rollcall or by emailing us. It stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, then moves to the Free plan.
- We don’t refund part months, except where the law requires it.
- If we charge you by mistake, we refund the mistake in full.
- If we stop providing Rollcall for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund any time you have paid for and not used.
- Merch and other purchases fans make at the stand or online are sold by the artist’s seller, not by Rollcall. Refunds for those are a matter for that seller.
Fan data
- The fan details you collect through Rollcall belong to you, and you decide how they are used. Backline Group Ltd handles them only on your instructions, under our data processing agreement.
- You must have a lawful reason to use fans’ details, send marketing only to fans who have said yes, and honour every unsubscribe and STOP.
- Don’t add personal details to Rollcall that you have no right to use.
Fair use
Don’t use Rollcall to break the law, send spam, harm or mislead fans, test or get around its security, copy or scrape it, or resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that does, and we will tell you why.
Connected services
Rollcall connects to services such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Stripe, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we can’t be responsible for them being available.
Our service
We work to keep Rollcall available, secure and accurate, and we improve it over time. We will tell you in advance about any change that significantly reduces what your plan includes.
Who owns what
Rollcall, its software and its brand belong to Backline Group Ltd. Your content and your fan data belong to you, and you let us use them only to provide Rollcall to you.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Otherwise, neither side is liable to the other for indirect or unforeseeable losses, and our total liability to an organisation in any 12 months is limited to what it paid us in that time.
Ending
You can stop using Rollcall at any time. Before closing your account, export anything you want to keep. When an account closes, we delete its fan data as our data processing agreement sets out, unless the law requires us to keep something for longer.
Fan Passes
- Your Fan Pass is free, and it belongs to the artist’s roll call you joined.
- Any offer on it, such as a discount on merch, is set by the artist’s team, who decide when it applies, for example only at the show you picked. Offers have no cash value and can change or end.
- A pass is for you only: it can’t be sold or transferred, and a pass that’s misused may be cancelled.
- You only get updates if you say yes, and you can stop them at any time. How your details are used is explained in the artist’s privacy notice.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and, for anything significant, tell account holders by email first.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights the law where you live gives you.
